The Center for Advanced Manufacturing at MassTech (CAM), in partnership with the Commonwealth’s Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, has launched the Massachusetts Manufacturing Accelerate Program (MMAP).
This new $2 million grant program aims to co-invest in small- to medium-sized manufacturers to help coordinate and prepare our supply chain to respond to increasing demands and to spur new opportunities for growth.
The program will support manufacturers through investments in capital infrastructure, to help spur new jobs, new markets and capabilities, and collaboration with ecosystem partners to help drive support, business connections and growth.
Priority will be given to projects that address key areas for growth in the manufacturing sector and align with emerging federal opportunities, including
- Semiconductors;
- Battery technologies;
- Additive manufacturing; and
- Defense/aerospace.
