Apprenticeship Services
SAMC partners offer free technical assistance to employers on how to implement customized registered apprenticeships.
Apprenticeship programs can assist employers in addressing common labor issues such as high turnover, employee retirements, and having skilled workers able to meet the challenges of today’s technologies.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts recognizes this need and has launched an initiative targeting the expansion of apprenticeships to new occupations and industries. Massachusetts also offers a state tax credit of up to $4,800 per apprentice to help subsidize specialized training delivered outside the workplace by a third-party training provider. In some cases, an additional tuition subsidy may also be available.
SAMC partners can assist your organization in implementing an apprenticeship program that is right for your organization.
