This training is in concert with the methodology, symbology, and principles of the United States standards (principally ANSI Y14.5). Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances is a means of specifying the geometry or shape of a piece of hardware on an engineering drawing. It is used as a communication tool for the design for manufacturing cycle.
