Manufacturers are invited to participate in an industry forum to discuss the growing needs of technician training for the textile and functional fabric industry. Being in advanced manufacturing, you know the hardship in finding qualified candidates for your positions. We want you to be aware that we are working on solutions, but would like your input to ensure our curriculum is on target to build a pipeline of well-trained technicians.
The forum, led by Massachusetts Center for Advanced Manufacturing at MassTech, will focus on identifying the skills needed to prepare advanced manufacturing technicians and provide employers with information on resources currently available to enhance your pipeline needs in the textiles and emerging functional fabrics sectors and the manufacturing sector overall.
