Mission Statement
The consortium provides a forum for employers, educators, MassHire Workforce Boards of Region 6 & 7, and other key stakeholders, to communicate needs and coordinate planning to cultivate a skilled labor pool of manufacturing professionals that meet the needs of our regional employers.

Goals
- Build a company-led network that is committed to identifying common challenges and seeking synergistic solutions through active membership participation
- Align strategies and tactics with the MA Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative (AMC)
- Develop relevant deployable curriculum and programming in partnership with Workforce Training Service Providers (including vocational-technical schools, comprehensive schools, community colleges/universities, MassMEP, AIM and others)
- Become recognized as a regional body that informs, advocates for and directs initiatives with local and state government
- Create a comprehensive training system and increase technical training resources across the area that will meet the needs of manufacturing employers for skilled workers
- Develop and deploy a campaign to drive public interest in manufacturing as a great career pathway and to connect people with job opportunities in the industry
